Strongest Music NFT Bet Yet?
Of all of the music NFTs I've purchased through Mint Songs, this one might be the closest to a "sure thing" bet as a music collectible.
When I first listened to the song I’m about to share I thought it sounded like something that would be featured as the background track of some sort of emotional montage on Grey’s Anatomy. It’s definitely in that general vibe. If you’ve ever watched the show, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. I don’t watch it though. My wife does. I’m just in the room when she watches it. Okay, moving on…
The song isn’t generally something I would go out of my way to listen to. So in a way you could potentially argue that I’m probably breaking one of my own rules when investing in art or music. Now with that being stated, just because this track might not fit with any of my current Spotify playlists, it doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate that it’s good. And ultimately, the proof is in the pudding. The track is almost sold out and the streaming metrics for this particular artist are arguably the best I’ve seen on Mint Songs yet.
After I started digging on this artist a little bit, I discovered I’ve actually heard her on the radio before. She has had two tracks that have made the Billboard Top 40. One of which actually peaked at #12 a few years back. That’s the song that I remember. It’s okay. Very poppy. Really not my thing. Her NFT is better.
