With Bitcoin rocketing over $60k per coin and briefly even touching $64k on Wednesday, the Pragmatic Investor and the Heretic Speculator decided to join forces and touch on many of the pressing questions currently offered by the financial market zeitgeist.

In this convo, we explore:

  • Is Bitcoin’s cycle top going to fail to live up to lofty forecasts of $250k-$500k?

  • Are we going to even get a proper “altcoin season” this cycle or will Bitcoin continue to eat the rest of the cryptocurrency market?

  • Do AI and crypto have an overlay in the future of data monetization?

  • Is Gold heading lower?

  • Where are some of the other opportunities in the equity markets currently?

  • And, of course, what do we make of NVIDIA NVDA 0.00%↑ after such a massive run to $2 trillion in market capitalization?

As James pointed out here in this video and in some of his recent notes at The Pragmatic Investor, when the consensus expectation is clear, markets often throw everyone a curveball. I think that this conversation will be really helpful for anyone looking to develop their own speculative process. And as always, I really enjoyed talking to James and picking his brain this morning.

Hope you enjoy it as well!
