Well, first and foremost I want this to be a resource where you can find insights that will help you develop your own process for valuing risk assets. Beyond that, there is no box that Heretic Speculator can be put in and that’s very much by design. Some general themes you’ll come across in my musings on society:

Heretic Speculator isn’t similar to any other Substack publication you'll likely come across. We'll explore the intersections of finance, politics, and the social zeitgeist with the occasional touch of humor. Stocks are great and we like the divis just as much as the next value investor. But put a crypto-bro, prepper, Goldbug, and a Nas fan into a blender and that’s basically what you can expect from Heretic Speculator.

Heretic Speculator is not a scheduled experience. This is not a heavy volume publication. I don’t personally believe in content quotas or forced emails and I care about being respectful of time and inboxes. If I don’t have something to say, I’m not going to say it.
